What a Gleek feels about the loss of the late Cory Monteith a.k.a Finn Hudson

Let us not talk how he died. Let's talk about how he inspired millions of people. I have been a fan of the show since 2009. What really interests me liking the show is the social issues that they are showcasing and on how they collaborate music with life.

I am not the "number one fan" of the show. I am just a viewer that loves to see how is it going and gets excited on the next episode. I was not a fan of Finn Hudson and Rachel Berry but I must admit at times I really do ahehehe alot.

Sunday afternoon, Manila time, July 13, 2013, I was browsing the news feed of my Facebook account as my usual habit when I saw something that caught my full attention. I thought right away that was just a hoax that was spreading on the world wide web but I had the feeling at that time that it might be serious, too. I don't know, I am a bit skeptic when it comes to death issues published on the web but the news about him was everywhere, as minutes passed by I started to believe it could be true.

Gone too soon Cory Monteith. He was found dead in a hotel in Vancouver.

After a few days, the result has been announced to the public, according to the autopsy and toxicology report he died because of heroine and alcohol. Police ruled out that there was no foul play since they found Cory's body. I really appreciate the family of Cory and Lea Michele's decision to let the public know what is the truth about his death.


I felt extreme sadness on his death. I cannot explain why or maybe there is something more I want to see from him. Before it happened, I was procrastinating myself that I will download a song on Glee that he sang, it is the song "Not the end". It was a song that he sang on the third season for main casts graduation. Listening to their songs really touch losers like me.

As a fan of the hit show dramedy Glee, there are lot of things I am worried about, especially if her on and off cam girlfriend Lea Michele as Rachel Berry will stay on the show, how will the producers and writers will explain the loss of Cory's character. It's a big challenge for Ryan Murphy. And I heard the premier of the fifth season will be postponed because of this incident. Better be, because Finn's character will be highlighted on the second episode of the fifth season and is one of the main characters of Glee. We are very confident that they are on a big adjustment on what would be the storyline, again.

Cory Monteith will be missed. Everyone who knows him personally and professionally mourning for losing a tall, great, talented and adorable guy. I will definitely miss Finchel or Monchele that is for sure.

I will never stop believing Finn Hudson. So long! This is not end.
